I Have Legend Of Zelda For Wii And Love It. Is The Gamecube Version Different?

iPhone Games, Video Games

I have Legend of Zelda: Twilight princess for wii and think it is the most awesome game ever. Is the gamecube version different and would it be a good choice?
Also for someone who loves this game, what games would I also like for the wii?

The two versions are exactly the same, however, the wii one makes use of the wii’s interactive capacity, i would not recommend buying the gamecube one, i would also recommend super smash brothers brawl, mario kart wii and mario galaxy.

Yes the Wii version and gamcube versions are very different. Link is right handed in the Wii version and is left handed in the gamecube version. This accounts for the mirror imaging of the map which means that everything that is right in the Wii version is left in the game cube version and everything that is left in the game cube version is right in the Wii version.
Aside from that the only difference is in the controls as you use the Wii remote and nunchuck for the Wii version to do simple commands as swing the Wii remote to swing your sword and aim the Wii remote at the screen to use your bow and arrow. The gamecube version isn’t as interactive as you just have to push the a button and b button to do commands.
Get the Wii version though and a game similar to that is Okami. It’s awesome.

Not really the only difference in the games are the controllers that are used and the fact that the game is right instead of left. everything is fliped in the other direction. So in the wii if you need to turn left to go somewhere, in the Gamecube it would just be right. Otherwise the storyline and everything else is the same. I have a wii guide…just cause someone got it for me and it was limited edition, and I used it for gamecube. That all ^^. Personaly I love it. I wish I had a Wii though that would be fun.

I also have the game. I don’t enjoy it as many of the other Zelda games I have played, but its not half bad. I own the GameCube version. The only noticeable differences I can see are the puzzles. For example, on the first boss castle when you have the boomerang and have to use it to get the Dungeon key, the order in which you tag the poles is different. Content is the same though.

It’s practically the same, except that the Wii version uses motion controls, while the Gamecube version (which is the one I own) uses a more traditional button setup. The gamecube version is also “flipped” horizontally because Link is left-handed in this version, while he’s right-handed in the Wii version.

Well the story is the same but the controls are obviously different and for some odd reason every thing is flipped to the other side. Like on Wii Link is right handed, but on GC Link is left handed.
Super smash bros brawl
Super Mario galaxy

no it’s the same, except for in Wii you actually move, but in GC you just press buttons. But the gameplay is the same
and you would love Super Mario Galaxy

The Gamecube version is exactly the same, from the graphics to the content. You’re not missing anything.

They have the same content but in the wii version, you can run and swing your sword at the same time.
